SAN YSIDRO, CALIFORNIA, (Jan 27, 2025): U.S. Marines with 1st Combat Engineer Battalion, 1st Marine Division, reinforce the southern border wall near San Ysidro, Calif. FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. (January 26, 2025): Fort Campbell Soldiers departed today en route to the U.S. southern border, in support of U.S. Northern Command’s mission to protect the territorial integrity of the United States.
Soldiers assigned to the 716th Military Police Battalion, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) will integrate with military forces already along the border and work together with the Department of Homeland Security and Customs and Border Protection.

WASHINGTON, (January 21, 2025): The Coast Guard announced immediate action on executive orders issued by the White House Tuesday.
“The U.S. Coast Guard is the world’s premiere maritime law enforcement agency, vital to protecting America’s maritime borders, territorial integrity and sovereignty,” said Adm. Kevin Lunday, the Coast Guard’s acting commandant. “Per the President’s Executive Orders, I have directed my operational commanders to immediately surge assets—cutters, aircraft, boats and deployable specialized forces—to increase Coast Guard presence and focus starting with the following key areas:
