FORT BLISS, TEXAS, UNITED STATES DoD Southern Border 2025 (July 16, 2025):  U.S. Soldiers, assigned to Joint Task Force-Southern Border, sling load a High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle to a CH-47 Chinook during an Air Assault Sustainment Course, at Fort Bliss, Texas, July 16, 2025. Sling load capabilities allow for equipment up to 25,000lbs to be transported by helicopter to remote areas of the border. JTF-SB executes full scale, agile, and all-domain operations in support of U.S. Customs and Border Protection to protect the territorial integrity of the United States and achieve 100% operational control of the southern border.
